sitting pretty in the babysmart cooshee booster hybak :: review

BabySmart logoOur youngest is too big for a high chair, but she is not quite tall enough to sit on a normal chair yet.  With only another year or so max before she is able to sit in a regular chair I was looking for a meal time seating option that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg.  Thank goodness I found the Cooshee Booster Hybak from BabySmart!

Cooshee Booster Hybak collageWe haven’t been able to use the Cooshee Booster Hybak at home yet (long story short – I’m on the search for the perfect dining table after our move), but let me just tell you that I LOVE this booster.  Like, big puffy pink hearts, ticker tape parade, thinking about buying a second one to have on hand in the car at all times, L.O.V.E.

BabySmart Cooshee Booster Hybak 2Here’s why I think you are going to love the Cooshee Booster Hybak too ::

1) The wide base and slightly raised back help keep the booster from being tipping over.  This made a huge difference when using it on a cushioned booth seat when out to eat.  Miss Sass (aka 3-year-old Dani) was able to sit comfortably in her Cooshee Booster Hybak without wobbling at all!

2) The low profile arms lets you get the chair close to the table.  This tiny detail saved us from a 30 minute table wait at our favorite local restaurant because we were able to eat at the counter using a booster seat for the first time ever! (The boosters they have on hand are too high to fit.)

3) The soft molded foam stayed put when Miss D was sitting in it, and the ribbed seat pattern is skid-resistant so she didn’t suddenly go sliding to the floor because she moved half an inch.

4) It’s for indoor and outdoor use (hello summer picnics!) and is 100% waterproof,  bacteria resistant, non-allergenic, and contains no latex or phthalates!

BabySmart Cooshee Booster Hybak 1Before you start thinking that I’ve got octopus arms to handle two small children, my purse, the necessary coloring books & crayons, plus a booster seat when going places let me also share that my Cooshee Booster Hybak came with a free carry bag that has a handle.  Life-save-rrr (please use your best pirate impersonation with the end of that one… hehehe)
