I love to find products that make life easier, cleaner, or more organized. We recently moved our washer and dryer from a closet in our kitchen to our garage and it’s been a worthwhile investment. However, I haven’t figured out shelving yet in the new location. I was looking for a way to keep the detergent on top of my dryer without making a mess and I found the Skywin Detergent Holder on Amazon. (affiliate link)
This will be the laundry accessory you didn’t know you needed. Whether you have shelves to put it on or simply want a way to store your detergent on top of your machines, this is the way to go.
There is an adjustable strap so you can put various sizes of detergent in this holder. I’ve tested it with a few brands over the last few months and they all have fit perfectly. Here are a few more wonderful things about this holder:
- Angled laundry detergent drip catcher, no need to tilt or lift the bottle. Downward slope makes soap pour out easily. EVERY LAST DRIP OF DETERGENT GETS USED!
- Rubber feet secures the soap station firmly in place. VIBRATION OF MACHINE DOESN’T CAUSE MOVEMENT.
- Comes with strap to fasten soap when placed on the laundry machine. FITS VARIOUS BRANDS!
- Molded edge keeps the measuring cup from sliding or falling off of the platform. Prevents soap or detergent from dripping onto the shelves or floor. VERY CLEAN WAY TO DISPENSE AND STORE CUP.
- Dimensions – 12.2″L x 7.9″W x 5.5″H.
I was a little hesitant to spend $21.99 on an accessory, but I’m so glad that I did. It’s been a very worthwhile accessory to have. It fit all my standards for a useful tool: easy, clean, organized.
Quick tip: Toss the cup in with the laundry detergent. Take the clean cup and replace it on the detergent when you move the load to the dryer.
My next project is making the garage laundry space cute. We have a long way to go, but thankfully it’s very functional and making our laundry task a much easier job with more space in the garage. Another bonus was gaining a fantastic pantry in our kitchen! Here’s a BEFORE and AFTER of the closet as well as the garage space that is a work in progress…
