small apparel :: kids’ clothes with a conscience on kickstarter

I wanted to start with the best part about Small Apparel, but I can’t decide on the best part–the adorable, totally unique kids’ clothing (and more!) or the fact that this family-owned business will be able to donate 25% of their profits forever if they can meet their Kickstarter goal to decrease their production costs.  25%!  Forever!

Here’s the kicker about Kickstarter–it’s an all-or-nothing approach.  If a fundraising goal is met, the project will be funded.  I’d love to see this family meet their goal (and then see all of the great organizations that benefit from it!)  Head on over to check out some of the amazing clothes and the author’s tote bag that I can’t wait to give to our favorite children’s librarian (it’s $5 less on kickstarter so now is the time to snag one…or two…or three–wouldn’t this be a perfect teacher gift at the end of the year?!)  And, while you’re there, see which pledge amount works best for you.  Even $1 helps!  But some of the great packages that come with bigger amounts are a steal so I recommend scooping up the deals while you still can!
