I live in Michigan. And when it’s winter, it’s COLD! Have mercy it’s cold!
I received a selection of socks from SmartWool and my Lili and I have been living in them as much as possible. You know, when they aren’t dirty and I’m not washing them. I loved the package when I opened them – check out the colors they sent. Awesome…and can you tell what my favorite color is?
Lili was SO excited to get these socks too! There happened to be a smaller size in the package and she was the obvious recipient. She is such a girlie girl – she loves getting new things, socks or not! When we go outside to play, she runs and gets her SmartWool socks. Not once has she come in because her toes are cold. On other occassions when she gets cold around the house, I find she dissappears and comes out in her stylish purple SmartWool socks.
Not only are these socks great for cold weather, I love wearing them when I am working out too. They are thin, They are not slippery and I have yet to get a blister while running in them. Obviously there are different socks for different activities, but you can read all about that on their site!
Last comment. While they are higher priced than the socks you can get at Target or Old Navy for example, the price difference is made up when it comes to their quality. I can guarantee if you “invest” in a pair or two of SmartWool socks – even once a year – you will not be disappointed. And you can easily start a collection and slowly get rid of the old, raggedy socks that have been living in your drawer for way too long. my SIMPLE star rating :: 5 out of 5
