snuggle up like a super hero! :: marvel selk’bag

We can’t really complain about the winter we’ve had so far in Michigan. November and December gave us many sunny days in temps well above normal. But, now it’s January and, as promised, winter has made it’s way here. It even gave us our first Snow Day of the season this week! {cue the noise of some very excited kids!}

And what better way to spend your first Snow Day of the year than snuggled up like one of your favorite super heroes!

I have been {not so} patiently waiting to share this with you guys because they are so cool and so adorable! Check out these Marvel themed sleeping suits from Selk’bag!

Ok, first, let me introduce you to Selk’bag. They are they makers of these amazing wearable, human-shaped sleeping bags. “Why would you want to WEAR a sleeping bag?” And to that I would say, why wouldn’t you?!?! Imagine the warmth and comfort of a sleeping bag but you’re not limited to just lying down. And you have complete mobility of your arms and legs!

Now, the coolness of Marvel! Selk’bag just recently released their exclusive line of Marvel themed Selk’bags and they are so awesome!

Available in sizes for both kids and adults, the Marvel Selk’bags come in Spider-man, Iron Man, the Hulk, and Captain America. The suits are very easy to slip into and zip up (so easy my 4 year old did it with no problems), have a soft polyester shell with a durable water resistant finish and come with a hood and hand openings that you can either open for use of your hands or tuck closed for warmth…kind of like little hoods for your hands.

The booties are removable via a zipper so you can wear your own shoes or keep them on for warmth. The booties also feature durable nylon so you could actually wear them outside, which will be really great for when we go camping later this year. (Quick mom note…no matter how warm your kid says they are, this is not a replacement for a snow suit.)

The Marvel Selk’bags also come with a backpack carrying bag that allows you to stuff the suit inside and take it on the go. After all, superheroes need to keep their suits on them at all times, right?

 

These Selk’bags have already topped my list for “favorites” in 2016! And Talon is absolutely in love with it! Honestly, I’m kind of jealous. I might just have to get one for myself.
