Disney is most certainly a family adventure of a lifetime. It takes patience, hard work, and a lot of creativity for us to take our little family on a Disney trip. It’s totally worth our efforts and we are grateful we’ve been able to make magical Disney memories. We just got back from a trip to Disneyland and I wanted to share about the most helpful planning tool we used.
Ridemax
After you get over the shock of ticket prices, you will want to get the most out of your time at Disney. Whether it’s Disneyland or Disneyworld, my #1 TIP to help you maximize your time is a site called RIDEMAX. It is a software that helps you perfectly plan your day so you don’t have to wait in lines. We’ve used this site for our last 3 trips and it’s outstanding. We went during a very hot and VERY busy week in June. The parks were nearly maxed out each day. While that sounds miserable, we rode every ride we wanted and our favorites twice. The heat was oppressive, but we managed the crowds thanks to Ridemax.
This site is also a wealth of information about the Disney parks. I can’t give away Ridemax secrets, but there is a tip about where to sit for the parade at Disneyland that is beyond amazing. The characters focused on our side of the street and the kids had extra interaction with the characters as the parade went by. We would have never figured out this parade viewing spot on our own. It must be a well-kept secret because we arrived not long before the parade started and got a good seat. You will also have access to tips for getting Fastpasses at the correct time, where to sit for the fireworks, and more. I would never dream of going to a Disney park without Ridemax.
Thanks to Ridemax, we had an amazing time as a family on our vacation. We appreciated every tip and all the hard work that goes in to making this site so helpful. They keep up with all the latest changes and make sure you are informed on how to conquer the park. We didn’t utilize the MaxPass option during our trip for financial reasons, but Ridemax will plan your day with our without that feature.
I’ll leave you with a GIVEAWAY and our family videos from our trip so you can see all that we were able to fit in each day. We were aggressive the first day, but relaxed after we hit our favorite rides at least once. In Disneyland we experienced 20+ attractions including the Jedi Academy show, Pixar parade, and the amazing fireworks in one day. California Adventure was fantastic too. Our plans included 190 minutes of ride time, we of course saw the Frozen show, and the Electric Parade is outstanding. Ridemax made all this happen in our schedule. Are you planning a trip to Disneyland or Disney World?

July 3, 2018 at 8:22 pmWe don’t have any current plans for a Disney trip (boo!), but I would love to go! Never been. Maybe next year? One thing I know we will do when we get there is take snacks with us! No way we’re paying park prices for some nuts or a drink! That’s what insulated bags are for! 😉
