spring into reading with mighty media press:: review

disclaimer no giveaway

After a long, cold Winter that left us spending a lot of time indoors, we are definitely happy that Spring and warmer weather have officially arrived! But that long, cold Winter has left our bookshelves picked over and kids getting bored with our current reading selection. {I guess that can happen when you’ve read all the books on the bookshelf 3 or 4 or 10 times.}

So, this Spring we’re looking to “Spring Clean” our bookshelves :: donate the books we’ve outgrown and add some fun new reads for the Summer months!

Some of our favorite new reads are coming from the great Spring release line-up from Mighty Media Press and author Paul Czajak!

Monster Needs a Party ::

A great addition to the growing collection of the Monster & Me books, Monster Needs a Party introduces us to Monster as he’s getting ready for his birthday! With all of the party details planned and the invitations delivered, imagine his disappointment when none of his friends can attend! {so sad!}

So, boy takes it upon himself to cheer-up Monster with some serious swashbuckling fun.

Seaver the Weaver ::

Ok, so I’m not a huge fan of spiders and their imminent arrival with Spring but I do marvel at their amazing webs! And Seaver the Weaver will definitely give you a new appreciation for those little arachnids and their webs!!

Seaver, a newly hatched orb spider, finds it difficult to build within the orb spider web mold when he sees so many amazing shapes around him.

What I especially love about the story of Seaver the Weaver is that kids are introduced to various shapes as they read through the adorable story. So great for preschoolers and early elementary readers! I took Seaver the Weaver with me last week when I was the March Mystery Reader for my daughter’s second grade class. It was so much fun! The kids loved guessing what shapes Seaver would make next in his web. They loved it so much that I couldn’t resist leaving the book with them so they could enjoy reading it again and again!

Seaver the Weaver :: available now

And, with this awesome Seaver the Weaver Activity Kit, the kids can continue to learn about their favorite new spiders and shapes! My kids are loving these! They are also loving this Monster Activity Kit that goes with the Monster & Me books!

If you’re looking for some great new Spring reads or thinking ahead for books for your Summer reading, be sure to check out all of the books from Mighty Media Press!!!

    These look like great new reads for the Spring. I can’t wait for the snow piles to melt and go outside to read in a rocking chair!
