spring is around the corner, it has to be! {#SpringatKohls #MC}

I had the opportunity to pop over to Kohl’s last week and check out their spring fashions. Oh me oh my do they have QUITE the selection going on right now! Coming off my most recent pregnancy, I needed some fun things to spice up my wardrobe and make my “in between” body feel good again! Let’s face it, not all of us can bounce back right away upon having a baby! So, I’m very thankful to Kohl’s for helping me feel beautiful again with a few pieces that I was able to pick up.

You walk in to the store, and the displays catch your eye. Both of our stores have great display mannequins from which I have often purchased the items being displayed! Takes the thinking out of my shopping experience. Plus, when you have kids in tow…the easier the better! Speaking of kids, Kohl’s is a great “stroller-friendly” store. Ok…back to the post.

Everything I purchased on this Kohl’s trip was the Apt. 9 brand. I’ve never had that before! 🙂 I chose a pair of incredibly comfortable denim, roll capris. These will be a staple in my spring wardrobe, for sure! Not only will they be fantastic for casual, but you can dress them up pretty good (with the right accessories) and stay somewhere in between too!

As you are shopping for some spring fashion pieces, I wanted to point out a few trends happening in the industry right now. Because, let’s face it, it’s cool to be trendy sometimes! 🙂

1. pantone purple is the color of the year – so yah, do that! pop in some pink from the #WinkofPink at Kohl’s and you are all set!
2. dainty jewelry is in this year – i love bulky, so this will be a change for me!
3. rolled cuff denim. try it, you will love it.  especially if you get the apt. 9 rolled cuff pants that i got! they are a bit stretchy…so totally forgiving 🙂
4. statement necklaces – huge.  you see them everywhere right now!
5. laser cut items, whether it’s handbags, shirts or shoes. kohl’s actually has a top that i was SO close to purchasing too.

The last thing I’m including is a short video of my purchases.  So you can see them “up close and personal”! 🙂

All in all – you have to stop over. You will love what you find at Kohl’s!
