I know we have a lot of Stitch Fix fans out there. What if I told you that there is now a similar service FOR KIDS?
Sprouting Threads is a newly launched company that specializes in finding just the right clothes to suit your child’s unique style. Specializing in upscale, boutique clothing for boys and girls in sizes 2-8, Sprouting Threads guides you through the process of rating different outfits, uploading a photo (if you wish) and adding any specific details you think are helpful (I noted that my son is on the thin side so we need adjustable waists or functional drawstrings, that he doesn’t love anything too structured and that his favorite color is orange). You then choose how many outfits you’d like and how frequently you want them shipped. The $20 styling fee is waived if you keep at least 2 of the pieces chosen for you (and I’m guessing you will because they were amazing at picking the perfect clothes for my son)! And shipping is FREE both ways.
First of all, let me just say I was so impressed with the styling! My son can be somewhat hard to please in the clothing department (he has called jeans “hard pants” for as long as I can remember), but since I noted all of this in the styling profile, the stylists knew what to avoid. They were able to find great looking outfits that still meet his need for comfort but are appropriate to wear somewhere other than soccer practice. Secondly, let’s chat about quality. These clothes are all super high-quality, name brand clothes. His included the brands Tea, Tooby Doo, Jack Thomas and Appaman. These are the same brands I find at my favorite boutique stores.
One of the things that makes Sprouting Threads unique is their reThread program. Once your child has outgrown their pieces, you can send them back to Sprouting Threads and receive credit for use on future purchases. You also have the option of receiving up to half reThread items in your subscription box. All reThread merchandise has been thoroughly examined for any signs of wear, tear or stains and the brand must be on the acceptable brands list. So you can save a little money and know you’re still getting the quality and brands you’re used to from Sprouting Threads.
Sprouting Threads is giving one SIMPLE reader a $200 credit toward your first subscription box! That is a LOT of amazing clothes for your little one!

mom to three, gina is often in the kitchen cooking and baking and has learned how to make just about anything allergen-free for her youngest son. she loves having her backyard filled with friends and soaks up the summer as long as she can. when they get the chance, she and her husband of 18 years love to play soccer, go paddleboarding and go on other adventures together. in what remains of her spare time, gina frequently has her nose in a book and looks for any reason for a girls night (or weekend) out.
