What are your list of things to get done or start doing once life gets less hectic? I’ll be honest, the top of my list is working out regularly, organizing my house, and a never ending supply of home improvements. I’ve slowly come to the realization that life is NEVER going to be less hectic. Organizing and home improvements are a slow process that I keep slowly tackling but as much as I want to make it to the gym every day we don’t live close and I just don’t have the time to make the drive and work out every day.
Thanks to Activ5 by Activbody I’m getting in more than just a stretching and walking work out on my days off from the gym. If you’re as unfamiliar with the Activ5 as I was a few weeks ago let me give you a short education in how this palm sized device is helping me to tone up and gain strength.
The Activ5 Device measures the pressure you exert during various exercises to target different muscle groups. Working with the Activ5 Mobile Coaching App you can select from their 14 different workout groups with over 100 different workouts! The workouts can be targeting different body groups (upper body, lower body, legs, abs, butt), help you achieve a specific body goal (strength or toning), or to even be tailored for getting done in a specific location (car/plane/train, office, hotel).
I really love how diverse the workout options are and how once you’ve set up your max power for each exercise you can honestly go through two rotations of each workout in 5 minutes. The app even walks you through the correct placement for the device in each specific exercise and shows you an illustrated picture for which muscle groups you are working on.
If you’re like me and are a busy mom who spends more time sitting in the car picking up kids, watching various children’s activities, or just managing the chaos of every day life the Activ5 Device and App can be total game changers in helping to squeeze in a workout on the go. Plus, you can use some of the Activbody games with your Activ5 Device to make working out even more fun! Just look for their other offerings in the app store.
