Here in Michigan we’ve been having one of the strangest winters I can remember. Snow then sun, below freezing to 50 degrees…all within a couple days. This has happened multiple times! With the unpredictable weather patterns we’ve been experiencing, I decided to prepare early for Spring this year.
Confession :: I am secretly excited for our first rain day so Michaela can wear her new Owl Raincoat from Stephen Joseph to school. There, I said it. Who am I kidding? Knowing her, those adorable owls will be worn to school and everywhere else I let her go as long as it fits, no matter if there is rain or not.
Being as how it’s February, the precipitation we are sporadically getting is still insisting on being frozen when it falls from the sky, but I did notice how well the polyurethane exterior and cotton lining kept the wind from cutting through on the day we took these photos. Unlike some raincoats that can feel stiff or bulky, the kids’ raincoats from Stephen Joseph move really well and are even machine washable (cold), just make sure to let it air dry when you’re done.
Since 1981, Stephen Joseph has been dedicated to creating fun and unique gifts while delivering service to our customers which exceed their expectations! We’ve come a long way since the early days of working out of our garage. Our team has now grown to over 125 people, and the garage has turned into a 90,000+ square-foot facility. We are committed to staying true to the core values on which the company was founded: we focus on the details, we produce the highest quality products, and we believe in making our customers happy!
Cute prints, playground friendly, effective water (and wind) repellent, makes this a raincoat that I’ll be keeping around for daughter #2 as well. Oh yes, and the zipper is so kid friendly that it was the first (and so far only) successful attempt by 4-year-old Michaela at zipping up her own coat! my SIMPLE star rating :: 5 out of 5
Owl Raincoat :: $38.99 is also available in 10 other styles
