How many of you love to color along when your kids are coloring? I don’t know what it is, but I love the de-stress that comes along with coloring and doodling. Animal Kingdom by Millie Marotta is an adult coloring book filled with intricate designs and patterns. Even just the black and white drawings are so gorgeous I’m tempted to frame a few of them! Some of the pictures fill the entire page and others leave space for you to add your own doodles. It’s not surprising that the book was on back order when I first ordered it several weeks ago. It is flying off the shelves.
Every summer, my family spends time at the beach. My son and I love to walk on the beach and collect shells and sea glass. I’ve already picked out a special boxed set for our trip this year–The Seashell Collector. This set comes with a journal, a treasure box with dividers to store shells and other fun finds, postcards and an illustrated booklet featuring types of shells and an overview on conchcology (did you even know that was a thing?) I can’t wait to fill that up with memories with my little guy.
