super hero’s to the rescue : : SUPER WHY! “PUPPY POWER!” on dvd

In our home, PBS KIDS is typically our go to channel for children’s programing. The variety of programming seems to hit each of the age groups in our household and each program always carries some sort of an educational theme. SUPER WHY! Has always been a favorite of ours!

SUPER WHY! Helps kids learn the fundamentals of reading through interactive storybook adventures. The program features a team of superhero characters with reading powers who jump into books to find answers to everyday preschool challenges!

My 4 year old is my second child. He attends preschool in the morning and comes home for lunch, a quick “quiet time”, and out the door to pick up big brother! I often feel bad for him at this time because I am busy tending to my youngest, making lunch, and prepping for dinner! He was thrilled when I showed him that I was sent SUPER WHY! DVD “PUPPY POWER!” In fact, he screamed with delight!

This DVD kept him occupied for the entire run time of approximately 120 minutes! I love the educational component which so greatly enriches all he is learning in preschool! I also was impressed to find him coming to me in the kitchen to ask me questions such as “Mommy what does the word ‘focus’ mean?” Enclosed within the DVD came a wonderful PBS KIDS activity book! Boy, was my son’s excitement put over the edge with this!

SUPER WHY! Is the perfect blend of education and imagination. It keeps little ones intrigued and holds their attention. Also, what kid doesn’t LOVE a superhero?!?!

SUPER WHY! DVD called “PUPPY POWER!” This fun-filled DVD includes four puppy-packed adventures. Join Woofster and the Super Readers for exciting adventures where they save other troubled pets, explore a comic book that Whyatt created called “The Missing Princess of Pet City,” and learn to concentrate by overcoming distractions! This collection of stories features tons of new furry friends and will inspire kids to go on reading adventures.

“PUPPY POWER!” became available on DVD January 10, 2017. The DVD has a run time of approximately 120 minutes and an SRP of $9.99. The stories included on this DVD are listed below. Episodes of SUPER WHY! are also available for digital download.
