Below zero temps, Polar Vortexes, blizzards galore…By this time of year I think just about everyone could use some skin pampering.
And I’m not just going to put anything on myself – or my family.
Taproot Farms exceeded my expectations for skin care, handcrafting all of their skin care right on their own farm. Using every aspect of their farm, their incredible stewardship practices creates skin care that will nourish your skin without toxic chemicals or fake ingredients.
I was most excited about trying the Moroccan Argan Oil. I have been seeing a lot of this around in the natural skin care world, and I was anxious to try it. I am blown away at all of Argan Oil benefits. I have been using it on my face in the evening and my skin feels fantastic. The scent is fresh and earthy and my skin does not feel oily at all. I have also read about using Argan Oil for conditioning the hair. I have started using it and besides loving the smell, I do like how it makes my hair feel – especially during this dry time of year when I end up having fly away hair at times!
The girls and I have been enjoying the Lavender whipped Shea Butter. We love lavender scent and it is the perfect after bath routine right before bed. Shea butter is extremely moisturizing – and our skin needs that this time of year! It feels so great and is safe and gentle enough to even use on the baby.
Foot rubs and back rubs have been abundant over the last few weeks with the Wildwood Massage cream! It feels so great and the smell is amazing – so fresh. Almond and avocado oils paired with mango butter make a perfect combo to treat your loved ones with a massage!
You all know our family loves goat milk soap. Taproot Farms uses milk from their own goats to make this gentle, effective soap. I knew that goat milk soap was very moisturizing, but I also learned on their site that it has the closest pH level to our skin, which helps protect skin from harmful bacteria and chemicals. So cool!
I also received the peppermint lip balm which has moisturizing jojoba oil, and protecting avocado oil. Simple ingredients. Super effective.
I have been very impressed with the simplicity and effectiveness of this great family farm business!
