Did Teacher Appreciation Week sneak up on you like it did me? I have to keep things simple because I have too much to juggle most days. Also, I’m not crafty. Here is a honest to goodness easy (& CHEAP) gift idea. Your child’s teacher might appreciate that it’s zero calories too.
Every time I see a pack of cute towels at Costco I grab them. Not only are they good quality (Kirkland brand), but they make a great gift when paired with a cute bottle of soap. Lucky for me, Target had Method soap on sale last week so I stocked up my gift cupboard. It made an already cheap gift cheaper. Then I searched the internet and spent too much time trying to decide which free printable to use, but ended up with THIS one from Eighteen25. I printed it on cardstock and cuz I was really feeling fancy, I used my corner rounder and hole punch to give the tag a more finished look.
I’m not going to show up the moms making lavender bath salts from scratch and putting it in a cute labeled mason jar….you know who you are…{{cough-Kelly-cough}}….yes I’m jealous of my fellow contributor on The Simple Moms. In a good way. 🙂 I’m just happy I was able to give my kids teachers a gift this year. I have zero recollection of doing anything last year. After having a child home sick for the past week, I am even more thankful for his teacher because I am struggling to get him through his makeup work. I’m so thankful for the teachers that influence, love, and guide my kids each and every day.

May 16, 2015 at 8:18 pmThis would also be great attached to a bottle of hand sanitizer. My neighbor teaches 2nd grade and she would be thrilled with either one!

May 6, 2015 at 12:33 pmI’m like you… my craftiness runs in waves and usually doesn’t happen when I need a gift for someone. 😉 I was actually thinking about what to get my daughter’s preschool teacher just this morning and this looks perfect! Thanks for the idea (and the printables)!

May 6, 2015 at 5:26 pmWe are kindred spirits Keara. You said it so perfectly..”craftiness runs in waves”. Made me lol. I think I was giving myself a bigger high five for having a gift on Monday instead of 2 weeks after teacher appreciation. I’m super amazed by the moms that have it all together, I’m hit and miss.
