The Help, have you seen it yet? For me this year, this was one of the most anticipated movies. Maybe I don’t get out much, but it sounded so good and I heard rave reviews. I hadn’t heard much about it until I started hearing things from the people I talk to often on Twitter. From that point on, it was #1 on my list. And yes, you read that right….twitter. Social media at it’s finest!! (By the way, I just found out about a Twitter party happening on 12/6. You can read more HERE if you want to be part of it too!)
No, I did not read the book. I don’t read…often. I hear that the book was just as good from most everyone that I have talked to that read the book. Now, that doesn’t really matter to me LOL! I want a good movie – and this was just that! It was very eye-opening as well.
The struggle that was overcome and the voices that were heard because someone stepped out was VERY moving to me. Inspirational really. Without saying too much, I loved what they did. They did what was tough, but in the end it turned out being the right choice and they helped open the eyes of many with it.
