I personally loved this movie. Yet, it was SO sad once I sat to think about it. It was like being inside my child’s head a few years down the road. Such dilemmas they face on a daily basis. It brings the fact, ever so present, that we, as parents, need to be involved. We need to be there. We need talk, and LISTEN. The phones down and out of the picture. Face to face convos. #endrant
Back to the movie – it’s AVAILABLE! You can pick it up now where you purchase your DVD’s presently. I wanted to share with you a little more about the bonus features for this post. There are some great ones!
Do you ever look at someone and wonder what’s going on inside their head? Disney-Pixar’s “Inside Out” takes an exciting and hilarious journey into the mind to find the answer. Based in Headquarters, the control center of 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy. She strives to make sure Riley stays happy as she operates alongside fellow emotions Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. It’s “an instant classic,” raves Richard Roeper, Chicago Sun-Times. Experience it like never before on Disney Blu-ray!
One. Short film of Lava. Oh so cute. Makes me laugh, smile and almost cry. The kiddies loved this in the theater and thought it was really cool that they could see it again at home.
Two. Riley’s First Date. Oh boy. This is FUN-ny! Again, watch this one.
Four. Mixed emotions. Who would have thought that so much THOUGHT went in to choosing these 5 fantastic emotions. Watch this to see how cool and tedious the process was. And see what professional experts they brought in for their research.
Five. Deleted scenes are always cool to watch. Sometimes they are boring, but sometimes you wonder why on earth they didn’t use some of these! I have the latter with this section of the bonus features.
Talk to me! Have you seen this movie yet? What do you think?
