How many times have you run out of milk, and contemplated where to go to get more? Many of the bath items get used up before I know we were even low on. Milk and cereal, yah, that. Last minute snacks when you are running around and want something a little more than a cheeseburger than the local drive thru. All of this!
I can’t tell you how many times we have had to run to our local CVS to pick up some necessities. So, I thought it would be find to start some discussion on what you have picked up, that’s a little out of the ordinary, at your local CVS. We are all about “out of the ordinary” over here.
Last minute birthday treats. Yes, oh yes…I’m TOTALLY GUILTY of running to get last minute birthday treats for my daughters. The most recent was four large bags of Tootsie Pops. Easy and affordable. I’m all about that!
Pet food. The animals must eat, right??? Well, the variety isn’t huge, but it was decent at mine. I found one that my dog would eat. As well as dog beds, pet treats and even a couple toys. You may even be able to find the best dog tracking collar. Right on!
The, errrr, lady essentials. Enough said.Remember that time your hair dryer was toast and you didn’t have time to go anwhere, but HAD to have one for the following day? Been there, done that. All the “As Seen on TV” that you could ever want.
Non-toxic hair care products for the littles. I am a huge fan of SoCozy, but in the past it’s been hard to come by. Ordering online has always been the easiest. However, now you can get SoCozy at your local CVS too. How cool! Why SoCozy for our family? Well, it’s based on hair needs for kids aged 2-12 AND the brand is non-toxic and made without parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic color, propylene glycol. Free of alcohol, gluten, wheat, peanuts and tree nuts. Plus, the values behind the brand are pretty stellar….smart, safe, easy and cool!
Where is your closest CVS and do you visit it frequently like we do? Not sure? You can look up the closest one to you — and be sure to look up the SoCozy.com location page too!

May 13, 2016 at 6:56 pmI’ve never heard of this brand but after having my daughter last year I’m all about using safer products for my family. I’ll have to check them out next time we’re in cvs, usually it’s when we’re sick though.

May 17, 2016 at 8:51 pmSadness about the sick visiting, but YAY for me sharing something new with you. Isn’t it crazy how things change up when we have kids. I hope yours stay healthy and you just stop in to CVS soon for some chocolate. Ha!

May 9, 2016 at 1:59 pmWow! I didn’t know they had SoCizy at CVS, and I consider myself somewhat of an expert at CVS shopping. One of my favorite finds there was a very hard to find and retired OPI nail polish that I’d been stalking on eBay. I paid less than $10! Total score! They also carry the filters and entire NoseFrieda setup- a nasal aspiration for babies that was a total lifesaver for my daughter when she was younger. I had been ordering them online because I couldn’t find them locally.
