If you’re not already aware I’m a big fan of anything I can machine wash. Clothing, blankets, baby gear, toys… Toys? Yeah, the self-proclaimed queen of all things machine washable has found dishwasher safe kitchen toys.
I came across Green Toys a couple months back while looking for replacement dining set for my girls’ play kitchen. With all the recalls of kids products made in China from the past couple years I was feeling leery about the toy dishes we had. When playing pretend all the play forks, spoons and cups were constantly ending up in their mouths and I wanted to make sure there wasn’t any “extras” going in as well.
Green Toys was my great exciting find. All of Green Toys’ products are 100% made in the USA (California to be exact) from recycled milk jugs (hellooo eco-friendly!) and are BPA free!
Okay, back to the dishwasher safe part. All of Green Toys’ Kitchen toys are dishwasher safe! This even includes their Sandwich Shop & Pizza Parlor play food sets. What a brilliant idea!
I quickly fell in love with our Green Toys Dish Set, and after it arrived I was thinking to myself that if the dishes and weren’t so small I would totally have let the girls use them for regular mealtimes. Imagine my delight when I revisited their website to see that they are releasing a Green Eats line this Spring with dishes, cups, spoons & forks for the kiddos! Woo Hoo!!!
