Fall is here! YAY! I just love this time of year, it’s my second favorite following Summer. And with Fall comes hot chocolate, colored leaves, pumpkins and pumpkin carving, trick or treating and fall decor. What’s not to love!
I was just introduced to “A Pumpkin Prayer” from Thomas Nelson Publishers, and my little Adalynn just loves it. We read it again today before nap time. There are these cute little mice in the book that she loves. She makes the little mouse noises….as imagined by a 2 year old. She also loves watching the mice play in the leaves. It is a board book too so it’s just perfect for her little hands turning the pages and all. It says it’s for ages 1-5, and my 5 year old even enjoys it. It is a short read, but overall very cute. I think it is perfect for this time of year since there is all the Halloween merchandise around – I love this as an alternative to Halloween books, especially since we really don’t celebrate Halloween.
A Pumpkin Prayer – Little ones will delight in the wonders of this special time of year and learn to be thankful to God for His blessings.
Here are a couple additional things about this book:
- Board book is die-cut in shape of pumpkin with foil on cover
- Teaches children to be grateful for God’s blessings
- First Book in new Time to Pray series
- Great alternative to secular Halloween books while still relevant to season
A Pumpkin Prayer :: $8.99
