When you’re building a baby registry it is amazingly difficult to pick out the perfect car seat & stroller or travel system. There are so many choices that it is easy to be overwhelmed, especially if you’re a first time parent. Having two kids past the stroller stage I have a bit of experience with what works and what doesn’t and I’m sharing this knowledge as I learn about the options available for Baby #3 as his arrival fast approaches.
First Tip :: either find a stroller & car seat that can work seamlessly together or a travel system that allows a car seat to ‘click’ right into the stroller so you know your baby is safe and secure.
Second Tip :: seats that can fully recline are VERY nice for napping babies. Very, very nice.
Third Tip :: look for a roomy basket for storing diaper bags, toys, and all the other gear you have to tote around.
The newest travel system I have been trying out and getting familiar with is the Urbini Emi and there are some things about this system that I am completely in love with! Besides for meeting all of the above ‘tips,’ the Urbini Emi travel system has some other great features that I just have to share!
Not only is the storage basket extra large it also has a zippered compartment that is perfect for keeping loose items like toys, emergency diapers & wipes, or a spare outfit. The Emi easily folds when you pull on the quick-lift system and when fully collapsed has a safety lock so the stroller is not going to suddenly pop back open on you. I also LOVE that the Emi is approved for up to 50 lbs, making it possible that I could actually push any of my children in this stroller (the 7-year-old is still 3 lbs under the weight limit!).
All in all, this is a great stroller and car seat travel system combo and I highly recommend the Urbini Emi travel system which you can find exclusively at Walmart!

May 1, 2015 at 6:11 pmI wish I would have had a travel system like this when my girls were young. Our stroller wasn’t compatible with our car seats which made stroller rides much more difficult when they were young. My sis-in-law is pregnant so I’ll have her check out this review!
