What do tongue twisters, someone who is perpetually late, dead bugs, and something more disgusting than the stuff growing in the back of the fridge have in common?
Answer :: They’re all song subjects on the new Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers album from Trout Fishing in America.
Oh yes, all that and more so it was no wonder that my girls loved, loved, LOVED this album from the very first listen. I knew it was an instantaneous hit when it had to be on immediate replay and they had already memorized some of the songs to sing along.
In fact, while 3-year-old Dani randomly serenades us with “it was totally disgusting, disgusting till the end, my sister kissed her boyfriend!!!” from the song “My Sister Kissed Her Boyfriend,” her big sister has been working on conquering all the tongue twisters in the title song “Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers.”
Here’s a fun music video for the title track, “Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers.” I think it is pretty easy to see why my kids are loving this fun album!
Upbeat tunes, catchy lyrics, and song topics just odd enough to enthrall the kids Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers has been a fun album for our whole family.
