We saw Despicable Me 3 this summer and it was a memorable way to spend a rainy afternoon. This post isn’t a movie review, but I’ll add that we enjoyed it. I read recently that it was one of the quietest box office hits that brought in over $900 million. Apparently others enjoyed it too.

We get invited to quite a few birthday parties for friends and family. Sometimes I struggle with accepting an invite to another party because our budget is tight and gifts can add up.
