One thing that my husband and I have done since our son was VERY little was to NOT offer him any toys until he absolutely needed them. We feel like allowing him to be content staring out the window allows him to grow his imagination and expand his mind. He doesn’t NEED toys all the time; there are so many wonderful things to see around us!! As a generation that is so connected to electronics, this is a good way to unplug.
BUT… you must have something to occupy your child! With Little Pnuts Travel Box, you will have a “box of tricks” to keep your child entertained and happy throughout your travels. What do I love most about this simple box? Exactly that! It’s simple. No electronics. No toys that make noise. Just cute stories, coloring books, story boards and much more! My box included two games that can be played with multiple people, a coloring pad with Crayola crayons, and a sticker (more like window clings) story board so that my son can play “zoo” by moving the stickers around on sticker friendly scene.
As we travel, I hand my son a new item out of the box whenever he is bored and it’s like Christmas all over again! He is excited to play with something different and it occupies his mind and hands, helping make the trip go faster.
What’s great about this box “subscription” is that it isn’t a subscription you must fill every month. If you know you are going to be headed out on a big trip, head over to the Little Pnuts website and pick an age appropriate box for your child! When you leave, they will be excited to see what is in store for them when you open your “box of tricks.” I know my little guy was excited!! 🙂
A SIMPLE GIVEAWAY!!
One lucky SIMPLE reader is going to win a Little Pnuts Travel Box. Here’s how to enter:

February 9, 2015 at 12:11 pmAwesome idea. It’s an 8 hour car ride for us to visit the grandparents, and I always worry about finding something to entertain my 3-year-old for the entire time. (Other than the iPad, that is!) This box looks great!
