As much fun as my kids have trick-or-treating for Halloween candy they don’t really enjoy all the candy they get. On top of that, there is no way I am going to let them mainline such a massive combination of sugar and artificial colors/dyes. (Feeding my children artificial dyes is worse than letting them eat a cup of sugar and a triple espresso.)
Last year I started a great tradition. Whatever candy my girls get from trick-or-treating or catch at parades now gets traded in for some treats from YumEarth. More often than not, the YumEarth treat of choice for my girls are their Organic Lollipops.
With a little extra postage we get to do some long distance giving for trick-or-treating as this year my girls are including YumEarth Organic Lollipops in the Halloween cards they are mailing to their cousins!
Okay, here’s some bullet points on why YumEarth Organic Lollipops are on my Mom-Approved list of trading in treats ::
- Certified Organic
- Real Fruit Extracts
- No artificial colors/dyes
- Kosher
- No gluten, tree-nuts, peanuts, dairy, or soy
- 100% Vegan
- NO GMOs
- Fat Free
All that and they’re delicious too! My personal favorite flavor is currently Perfectly Peach while my youngest gravitates towards Googly Grape and her big sis searches out the Mango Tango. Oh yeah, and for guilt-free momma indulgence while watching your diet… each Organic Lollipop is only 22 calories!
Organic Lollipops :: $7.99 for a bag of 40+ pops – you can look for them at over 7,000 Walgreens now too!
