In this crazy, busy world, don’t you just wish there was an answer to quick meal or snack choices? You know, something that is easy to understand and helps with choices. But, not giving a million choices. Check this out…
To Be a Healthy Eater, I Have a Plan is a groundbreaking children’s book on nutrition that will empower children of all ages to take action to be healthy. Developed with guidance from renowned nutritionists, this Have a Plan Book is the first-of-its-kind to synthesize cutting-edge nutrition studies with real-world child nutrition experience in an entertaining story. It incorporates brain science, the United States Department of Agriculture’s “My Plate,” Harvard School of Public Health’s “Healthy Eating Plate,” and scientific findings on children and eating patterns. Children will be empowered to L.E.A.D.: use Logic and Emotions to Analyze and Decide on a healthy eating plan. Learning about nutrition, examining the emotions that healthy versus unhealthy food can trigger, analyzing suggestions, and developing their own plan gives children the tools they need to grow up with healthy eating habits. They will also practice lifelong, brain-boosting skills in the process of developing their own plan. Appropriate for all ages, adults are guaranteed to learn healthy tips for children and themselves, too!
The second book is for the preschool aged child and helps them prepare for school. Also…this can be PERSONALIZED! That’s pretty cool, right?
When I Go to Preschool, I Have a Plan is a groundbreaking children’s picture book about a child’s first transition to school. Starting school is exciting, but it can be scary too. Grounded in brain science, children will be entertained and empowered to L.E.A.D.: to integrate Logic and Emotions to Analyze and Decide on a plan to prepare for preschool and ease separation. Learning about preschool, exploring the emotions involved in going to school, analyzing suggestions on ways to prepare, and developing their own preschool plan gives children a sense of control, teaches anticipatory behavior, and boosts brainpower in the process. This practical yet fun approach ensures that children have a healthy separation from parents as they enter school, and a positive transition to their new environment and routine, making this book a must-read for children headed to school for the first time.

September 23, 2014 at 11:41 pmThat book for Preschools really interests me. My grandson is doing ok but kind of acts like he wonders why we want to just send him off and not go with him in the mornings.
