Fashion is something I have always wanted to get into, but being plus size sometimes makes that difficult, or so I thought.  Honestly, I think that’s just how I felt, it wasn’t reality if I went to the right places to look for the right items that went with my body type.  Now, don’t get me wrong, I am still on a weight loss journey to achieve the happiness I want.  But as I go on this journey, I need to be happy in the NOW and feel comfortable with my body and what I wear.

I set out trying to find companies that would help me achieve this look and happiness with in myself.  I know there are a lot of women/moms that struggle with the same thing.  I would like to start sharing more plus size fashion with you all, hoping it will help some of you be more confident in your clothes. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t easy for me, it is taking a lot of courage and convincing to do this. I’ve had a lot of guidance from a friend, encouraging me to do this and I am thankful for that.

Moving on….the company I am featuring today is Yona New York. It is a chic plus size fashion store online that I fell in love with and thought for sure I could pull of some of the looks. They are available in sizes 14 to 24. Yona New York has clothing that enhances the body, not just cover it up. Their clothes are specifically sized for the more shapely plus size figure, and styled to ensure a great fit.  Perfect, right?

The second look, is more of something I would wearing going out on date night.  I paired the vest with some black legging capri’s and flat sandals.  It was very comfortable for the night out.
