This week’s installation, in my collaboration with my friend Erin over at Home with the Boys, features Ja-Vie! As you may already know, Erin is a fellow fashion lover, but she is a mom to three boys and, as you know, I’m a mom to four girls! We thought it would be fun to show you how we view style from two different perspectives – a girl mom and a boy mom. Be sure to check out her fabulous post today, sharing something different than I am from Ja-Vie!
Flats are an essential part of my weekly wardrobe. They are so easy to grab and go, plus, if you get the right flats, they help your outfit look and feel put together real well. When asked which pair of Ja-Vie flats I liked the best from their spring colors (shown on their homepage), I chose the Starfish Flats as I knew I would be able to wear them with a TON of outfits. That’s when you know you have a comfortable shoe, you opt for a color that will go with everything. If you like to switch your shoes up, they have all.the.colors. too. Pattern mixing is all the rage right now, so I figured a simple pattern would be my first step in mixing up my patterns in my wardrobe this spring.
I first put them on with a casual outfit. I’m constantly grabbing my boyfriend jeans and a cardi….skinny, rolled jeans and a cardi. You get the point. Assuming I’m always running around with kids, I opt for the Starfish flats for cute and comfy and throw on some jewelry to complete the look.

I don’t wear heals too often any more due to my feet issues I’ve had in the past, so for when I dress up in the warmer months, I like to wear a flat or a sandal. The second look I’m sharing showcases a fun patterned dress from Lularoe and patterned flats. See, I’m showing how to mix patterns and have it work out!

What styles from Ja-Vie would you like to have in YOUR closet?
And before we go……let’s talk more FUN stuff!
