My family and I had a family night. It was complete with popcorn, pillows, blankets and two cute little ladies cuddle up next to us. For this family night, we watched HOP. I must say, this is probably one of my favorite movies that we have recently watched. It was not only wonderful for my little ladies, but my hubby and I enjoyed the whole thing.
From the opening scenes of the display of candy over at “Easter Island”, to the ending of warm and cushy feelings all around, this movie gets a thumbs up from everyone at our house. That is my husband, myself, my 2 year old and my 5 year old.
Here is a little about it:
From the makers of Despicable Me comes an all-new comedy about candy, chicks and rock ‘n’ roll! He was destined to be the Easter Bunny, but all he wanted to do was rock! When teenager E.B. (voiced by Russell Brand) leaves for Hollywood in pursuit of his dream to become a rock star drummer, he meets Fred (James Marsden), an out-of-work slacker with his own lofty goals. Together the two encounter a series of hilarious mishaps and misadventures and in the end help each other recognize the importance of family.
If you haven’t thought about it yet or picked this up for your kids and their Easter basket, (or just a plain good ‘ol movie to have on hand) I would highly recommend doing that. And you can get a great deal on it via Amazon. Link below.
Last, not only is this movie the full package in my book, but there is a pretty cute “mini-movie” included in the set we received too. Another thumbs up! my SIMPLE star rating :: 5 out of 5
