upcoming dvd releases from disney :: information

We are movie junkies over here. I love to check the new release calendar for Disney movies about once a month, making sure we can see what will soon be visiting our television set upon release day. I think I have created little movie monsters as well, because they love to cuddle up and have movie nights every weekend with my husband and I. I love it. Creating family memories together every weekend!

I checked the calendar, as I said above, and have a few fun ones to share with you!

Of the ones below that I’m sharing, what looks great to you and that you can’t wait to see in the comfort of your own home?

November 4th :: Maleficent
Explore the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain in this wickedly fun twist on the classic “Sleeping Beauty.” In an unforgiving mood after a neighboring kingdom threatens her forest, Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) places an irrevocable curse on the king’s newborn daughter, the Princess Aurora. But as the child grows, Maleficent finds herself becoming fond of the girl. And as the conflict between the two realms intensifies, Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land. Journey beyond the fairy tale in this soaring adventure that is “visually arresting, brilliantly designed” (Andrew Barker, Variety).

    My daughter and I love watching Disney movies together. We had been wanting to see it for a while and enjoyed it. Hubby’s not that into them but he did watch Maleficient and thought it was pretty good.

    We saw Planes and will most likely be watching Fire & Rescue. Our favorite is Tangled and I love The Lion King.

    We have family movie nights too.
