“This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Cottonelle, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #CottonelleHoliday http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.”
The holidays are here and Cottonelle has prepared me to be ready for all the guests that will be coming in and out of my home. Not only is this triple roll going to last through many guests but is also going to help decorate for the season. Cleaning, prepping and being busy with entertaining all the guests, I do not want to have to worry about running out of toilet paper. Knowing this, I went to Target and got the triple roll of Cottonelle to help. I am glad that I will not have to worry about the roll of toilet paper because I know there will be plenty with using the triple roll by Cottonelle. Not only is it going to last three times as long but the quality and thickness is much better then other rolls of toilet paper.
I also wanted to share with you fun little craft that you can do using the Cottonelle. I just love snowmen and thought of a great way to decorate with it for the holidays.
First you will need a few things to make your cute lil snowman.
- 3 different size styrofoam balls
- super glue or elmer’s glue
- sheet of black felt
- a couple twigs or whatever you would like to use for the arms – I used some silver branches from the Christmas section at JoAnne’s
- 1/2 a roll of Cottonelle toilet paper
- small black pom poms
- 6 toothpicks
Now that you have the supplies, take the largest ball and cut off a portion of the bottom of it so it will stand up.
Take a toothpick and put it in the center of the middle size ball, then stick that on top of the largest ball. Then do the same with the last ball and stick it on top.
This is where you are going to need your Cottonelle toilet paper. Tear off the squares and crumple them in to a ball. This is where the kids will have fun. They did lots of crumpling for me.
After you have done about half the roll you can start gluing the crumpled toilet paper on the styrofoam balls. I used both super glue and elmer’s glue and either were good.
Once you have covered all three balls with the toilet paper, you are almost finished. You just need to take the black felt and cut a circle and one strip out of it. I got the kind that was sticky on the back so it would make it easier to stick on top. I took the twigs and poked the holes in the styrofoam for the arms and then glued on the three pom poms for the buttons.
This was a super fun and easy craft that you can do with your kids. It will look great for the holidays and last all winter long.
