wallflower art boutique :: monkey business {giveaway}

Right now my two girls share a bedroom that is a hodge-podge of decor.  It has been the catch-all for any decorations or furniture that we didn’t quite know what to do with… chrome shelves, a custom painted changing table, and posters of wildlife completely covered with stickers are some of the many random items in this room.

Now that we are finally done with the nursery furniture and are in the process of getting those ‘big girl beds’ we so desperately need I’ve been looking for some guidance with redecorating.   To go with those beds they need a ‘big girl room’ but first I needed to find a way to create a space that both they and I would approve.

Thankfully, I’ve found some inspiration from Wallflower Art Boutique that should make us all happy. Wallflower Art Boutique is the brainchild of Lisa Marie Keys, who has been designing and painting children’s art since her own children were just babies.

The whimsical animals, robots and monsters are all prints of her original hand painted artwork done on heavy duty watercolor paper. Packaged in a board backing and cello bag and mailed in protective hard envelope these prints arrive ready to be framed.  They don’t even need to be matted!

You really have to study the prints to realize that they aren’t the original watercolor paintings and my girls just loved looking over the selection offered at Wallflower Art Boutique.

We now have the adorable Boy Monkey and Girl Monkey Children’s Wall Art Prints waiting for my final decisions on furniture and accent colors before they become framed for my little monkeys to enjoy.
