I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
I’m one that needs closure at the end of my meal so I know when to stop eating. As in, I need chocolate and/or ice cream and then I know dinner is over. Thank goodness for treats like these!
Weight Watchers has 4 new frozen novelties hitting your grocery store’s frozen aisles this month. I was able to taste test them this week. It was a tough job, but somebody had to do it. I didn’t hear my family complaining one bit!
You do not have to be on the Weight Watchers diet to enjoy these treats. I have gone through the program (two thumbs up by the way) and I am a Lifetime Member, but I was eating Weight Watchers ice cream long before I joined in 2005. It is by no means diet food…it tastes good! If my husband will eat these, you know it doesn’t have any funky diet food after taste.
These are real desserts, and they are helping us out with our muffin tops by packaging them in reasonably sized portions.
- The Double Carmel Swirl and Vanilla Fudge Swirl cones are amazing. If you do the Weight Watchers program, you know how great it is to have a 2 point dessert.
- The Divine Triple Chocolate ice cream bar was my 2nd favorite after the cones. It’s a huge fudge bar with a hard chocolate coating.
- The Cherry Cheesecake ice cream sandwiches were really good too. These were like eating a cherry pie with ice cream.
Don’t speak in points? That’s okay. These desserts range from 90-110 calories and 1-4 grams of fat. Don’t even think about feeling guilty after that dessert, unless you eat 4 or 5 in one sitting. 🙂 Click HERE for a complete list of frozen desserts that Weight Watchers has to offer. Calories and fat are included in the descriptions.
I don’t see any current coupons for these new treats, but I can speak from experience that Weight Watchers puts out a lot of coupons. I’ll give you a heads up on Facebook if I see any. So be sure you follow Simple on Facebook. I’ll share my secret coupon source with you too. Click here for a great coupon database.
