welch's logoWhen I was a kid my favorite part of packed lunches was when there was a bag of fruit snacks included.  While I haven’t had to pack any school lunches for my kiddos yet (the oldest is just starting preschool this year) I’ve found that Welch’s Fruit Snacks are delicious treats year round.welch's sm mixed fruit

IMG_5917Made with real fruit juice Welch’s Fruit Snacks come in a 10 great flavors. We’ve been snacking on the Mixed Fruit and new Tangy Fruit flavors.  These aren’t ‘sour’ flavors, but are just tangy fruits like lemon, pink-grapefruit, tangerine, sour apple, cherry and cran-grape.  I personally liked the Tangy Fruit so much I thought about hiding the boxes from the kids so I could enjoy them all myself.

Welch’s Fruit Snacks also contain 100% of the DV for Vitamin C and are fat-free, gluten-free and have no preservatives!  Besides for being great in lunches or as afternoon snacks, I think Welch’s Fruit Snacks would be the perfect treat for handing out at Halloween, Valentines Day or as a birthday treat for your child’s classroom.IMG_5897
