My newest kitchen staple to have on hand is rather surprising to me. Paper bakeware. You may wonder why I’d say that, but after using Welcome Home Brands’ oven safe paper bakeware just once my mind started whirling with the possibilities.
Friends have a new baby and I want to bring them a meal? Paper bakeware will let dessert still look as nice when I deliver it as it did when it came out of the oven. Someone needs a pick-me-up and I’m in a brownies sort of mood? Paper bakeware. Bake sale at school? Use paper bakeware and I don’t need to worry about getting my pans back. Christmas treats, teacher appreciation, picnic desserts… Oh my, the list goes on!
When using Welcome Home Brands’ paper bakeware you’ll want to keep in mind that recipes will need to be adjusted or have multiple paper bakeware pieces on hand. Also, cooking time will differ from a traditional metal or glass pan. Use the instructions included in your recipe to check for doneness. Think, the difference between baking a cake or cupcakes.
The Welcome Home Brands paper bakeware is free-standing, so you don’t need another mold to help hold it up (see my photo from in the oven) unless using one of the smaller bakeware containers. In those cases you’d want to place the paper bakeware on a cookie sheet to avoid tipping and spilling on the oven racks. I was super excited that paper bakeware pieces never need to be pre-greased because that is one messy step I will gladly give up!I haven’t tried it yet, but you can also use the paper bakeware for non-dessert items. I’m thinking individual pot pies would be fun to try. my SIMPLE star rating :: 5 out of 5
