You have cleaned everything in sight. From the kitchen counters to the corners of the play room. Your overnight guests can arrive and you can sit back and relax. Until….you realize you forgot to clean the showers, and they will be arriving in minutes! And with your guests being ‘overnight’ guests, there is a high probability they will want to use the shower in the morning. Eek!! What will you do?
That was our EXACT scenario a few weeks ago. We had some company coming in from out of town, we were cleaning like crazy and then I realized I had forgotten to clean the shower. With not enough time to do it all, I enlisted my husband for some additional help. With the name and iconic title, Scrubbing Bubbles®, I knew it had to be good. Did you know that it kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria (you can read this on the label) and has a fresh citrus scent (it comes in a total of two scents) while doing that? Deodorizes the bathroom and kills bacteria at the same time. When the bathroom is clean and disinfected, you know you have a complete clean. Let’s dig a little deeper though…
With over 40 years of experience of ‘cleaning’, they HAVE to know their business! Right? Did you know that we, Americans, spend less than 20 minutes each week cleaning our bathrooms? Umm…YUCK!! And while I know this to be a fact in our home, it’s still gross reading/thinking about it! I want to know that the product I am using is getting the job done, in the short time I spend doing it. The Scrubbing Bubbles® cleans the grime, the soap scum, the dirt, the hard water stains, the mildew…all the first time. No doing it two times to make sure it’s done. Scrubbing Bubbles® conducted a survey to find out what was “Behind Closed Bathroom Doors”. Their findings shouldn’t be shocking, but they are still a little unsettling. Check these couple things out (summarized in my voice):
- 60% of people flush with the lid up – that means icky, grossness easily flying out the top.
- 2 out of 5 men admit to urinating in the shower. {oh no they did not!!} oh yah, and about 20% of people admit to washing their delicate clothing in the bathtub. Let that one sink in for a second….
If learning all this doesn’t make you want to be SURE to wash your hands when you are away from home after using the restroom, I don’t know what will. Also, this makes me for sure to grab a product that I know will be doing the trick.
