what’s a fijit? :: review

Fijit.  Anyone intrigued by the name alone?

First, let me introduce you.  Audience, please meet our new Fijit Friend…

As well as our new Yippit (ours is the pink one)…

The girls were completely intrigued by these little cuties the second they saw them.  They hovered around the boxes until I had time to open them.

The Fijit Friend tells jokes.  It’s hilarious.  Well, the jokes are “kid” jokes, but the fact that they interact with us replying with a “who’s there”, is amazing.  And the little Yippit.  Fun, Adorable, Cute…and on and on.  It’s like a little dog LOL!

Another thing I like about this toy, it’s not just a toy that the kids can sit down with.  It encourages interaction, brain power, thinking and just plain old fun.  Both my 3 and 6 year old play these together, and often times I find myself or my husband right there with them!

While these little guys are friggin’ adorable, it took a little brain power to figure out how to work them.  This is not a toy that you can just pick up and play.  At least I couldn’t.  I needed to read the directions.  Once I got them working and figured out how to make them work, boy that’s when the fun began!

These toys do interact with each other, however in my house, it’s been more fun for them to be played with individually.  Upon reading the directions, it has been a SUPER FUN, interactive toys, played together!

Oohhh, one more note.  You must talk clear, so it’s simple for the Fijit to understand.  When my 3 year old talks to the Fijit, it doesn’t understand her very well at all.

All in all, even given my disclaimers above in how to interact with the toy correctly, I think this toy is super fun.  My girls giggle endlessly with them.  Upon purchasing these toys for either your children or friends, just know it will take a little time to learn.  Overall not a ton, but a little. 🙂
