Do you ever walk by the couches at Costco and wonder if they are worth buying? As far as the price of couches go, they are very reasonable, but will they last? I had all those questions running around in my head for years. This is the time of year you will see all the lovely couch options roll out onto the warehouse floor. Two years ago we bought the 6 piece sectional couch that can be arranged in multiple ways. I’m happy to report it’s been a wonderful purchase.
If you like to re-arrange your furniture, this is the couch for you. Our living space is very small, but the couch fits well and makes our space very comfortable. If you have a larger space, your arranging possibilities will be numerous. You can see the configurations from our living room. The kids love configuration #2 and it’s also handy if you have overnight guests and you are out of beds!
Costco put together a great video HERE to show you 6 ways to arrange the couch. Each of the 6 sections are a very manageable size. It’s easy to shift the couch into new places by myself. The pieces lock together underneath, but I’ve never locked ours since it’s on carpet. It stays together wonderfully.
Not only is this couch very stylish, but it’s also comfortable. Our family of 5 can spread out and everyone has a favorite place to sit. The couch has no sagging, fading, or signs of poor quality. We do make sure the kids don’t jump on the couch, climb across the back of it, or use it in ways it’s not intended. I would like to think that is helping us keep our furniture nice for a longer time period.
There have been a couple of places where we have gotten a few loose threads on the stitching, but we’ve carefully trimmed the threads. Nothing that compromises the actual seams of the couch, but our first signs of it being a well-used piece of furniture. It’s very minor, but I wanted to note it.
This couch is not available online, but it should be in your local warehouse if it hasn’t already sold out. It only comes in this dark grey color. Speaking of the color and fabric, it’s basically the best ever if you have a kids or pets. Stains simply DO NOT show. I spot clean with a damp cloth and it looks good as new. Did you see our kitty in the very first picture of this post? He blends right in which is beneficial to our outdoor kitty who keeps sneaking inside.
If you are planning to purchase this couch with your Costco credit card and/or your hard earned Costco cash rewards, I have one last tip. You can cash out your rewards instead of applying it to your purchase. This will allow you to earn future cash back on the entire purchase price. You want your cash back on the $899 price not $599 if you have a $200 rewards check for example. You might need to find a register with enough cash or go to the Customer Service desk, but you can cash out your rewards from your membership and credit card in the store (not at a bank).
While we always give our most honest reviews and only share what we love on The Simple Moms, I do want to say that this post is not sponsored. I wish I was getting a commission because I have told friends, strangers, even customers in the Costco store what a great couch this is. One lady shook my hand and said, “Sold, I’m getting this couch!” and I walked toward the produce section giggling at the interaction. Costco, are you reading this? If there are any couch sales positions open, I’m your lady! 🙂
Please let me know if you have any questions about this couch. I’m clearly in love with talking about it. It lives in the heart of our home and holds the people most precious to me. It’s a great couch!

January 23, 2019 at 6:56 pmHow fun our kitty’s are twins. Is yours a kitten too? Our best guess is our Smokey was born in September. A neighbor brought him home from a firestation and then his grandma wouldn’t let him keep him. We became his family. It’s been fun for the kids to have a pet.
