Anyone else have Wild Kratts obsessed kids? We keep screen time to a minimum over here, but one show we can all agree on is Wild Kratts. For those of you who haven’t seen the PBS hit show, Wild Kratts is a live-action/animated educational TV series for kids. It chronicles the exciting adventures of Chris and Martin (the Kratt brothers) as they study animals in the wild. Not only is the show perfect for boys and girls, but it is also entertaining for lots of ages. My 6-year old son and 8-year-old daughter love the show, but surprisingly, it’s also the one my 2-year-old requests most often as well.
So when I read that Chris and Martin have their own Wild Kratts Live show, I knew it would be perfect for our family. I surprised our older two children with tickets for the show closest to us in April—can you tell they’re excited?
Here is a little preview of what to expect at the Wild Kratts Live show. Animated Kratt Brothers, Martin and Chris, come to “real life” in a classic Wild Kratts story. Off to the Creature Rescue, the Kratt Brothers activate some fan-favorite creature power suits to confront a comic villain. Through hilarious pratfalls and amazing animal wow facts, the Wild Kratts team rescues a helpless animal friend and returns her home “living free and in the wild!”
The show is about an hour long, not including a short intermission. Perfect for ages 3 through 5th grade—or any Wild Kratts fan. We will be leaving our 2-year-old at home as sitting still isn’t really his thing. But, don’t worry, he can still watch his favorite episodes from home!
Visit the Kratt Brothers website and take a peek at all of the cities they are visiting on their live tour!
