My daughter and I especially love making crafts, but my boys get in on the fun as well! We recently discovered a whole new line of craft kits and ideas called Made4U Studio. What we were super excited to try from this line is the Craft EZ Oven. The closest thing I can compare it to is an Easy Bake Oven for crafts. It’s a small, kid-friendly oven that bakes your crafts. And it’s not just one type of craft–you can mold and bake clay, color and shrink charms, make crystal creations like suncatchers and paint and bake porcelain.
The oven itself comes with clay to make a few mini sculptures and also a crystal creations paint pallet. Then there are a whole host of other kits you can buy to use in the oven. We started with the porcelain trinket boxes and the color and shrink flower power mobile. Check out all of the adorable options! I could see my boys loving the monster light catchers and I kind of want to make the mold and bake cactus garden for myself!
A few things I love: 1. The oven settings allow you to push a button and watch the craft bake from the window. No worrying about timers or temperatures. My daughter had just put a clay sculpture in to bake when a friend came over and asked her to play outside. She took off and I knew I didn’t have to worry about messing with the sculpture. She just took it out when she got home later and it was ready to go! 2. My oven isn’t a slave to craft projects! You all know I do a lot of cooking and baking and ideally I like to keep the crafting out of the kitchen. This oven can sit safely at the craft desk and she can craft while I cook. 3. The crafts are made for kids 8 and up. Sometimes 8 and up means “Mom does the craft while kids supervise”. But these crafts are really attainable for 8 and up. My 4-year-old has actually had fun with them as well. 4. It’s totally safe! The oven will not open unless it is at a safe temperature. No accidental burns with this oven!
What would your kiddos love to make in their own craft oven?
