If you are like me, you may be wondering how in the world a wool diaper works. I am not going to go into details on the “how,” but I will tell you that wool diapers work great!
Lily’s Dream makes a wonderful up-cycled wool diaper cover that you will just go crazy over! I was a little hesitant about using wool, so I started by having my son just wear this wool cover for an hour or two during the day; then I moved it up to a nap time. When nap time was a success, I tested it out with the “big guns”… NIGHT TIME! You want to know the crazy thing? No leaks! Lily’s Dreams just made this mamma’s dreams come true!
Kayla from Lily’s Dreams makes a quality product. You can tell that she puts a lot of time into creating a wool diaper cover that is adorable and going to last! All of the seams are nicely serged for added durability, and the appliqué on the tushie is a cute personalized touch. Sometimes wool can be itchy, but the wool interlock that is used in the waistband and leg cuffs is incredibly soft. It is obvious that my son has no discomfort with this up against his sensitive skin. The body of the cover is made from 100% recycled wool, so you can feel great about the fact that you are being environmentally conscientious and giving new life to something that may have just been thrown away.
I use my up-cycled wool diaper cover from Lily’s Dreams on a daily basis. I hope you check our her shop and find out for yourself how Lily’s Dreams can make YOUR dreams come true!

March 4, 2014 at 3:45 pmI started using wool when my daughter because a super heavy soaker- it was a lifesaver! My best tip is to make sure it’s well-lanolized before you start using it.

March 4, 2014 at 12:48 pmMy daughter has used wool covers with two of my grandchildren and they work wonderfully! She is expecting her third child in April and I would love to be able to surprise her with this. My advice would be to do extensive research on the care of your wool, and your experience will be positive.

March 4, 2014 at 11:17 amI have a few wool covers. My only advice is to get an easy to use wool wash that has the lanolin in it so you dont have to wash and then lanolize!
Emi
March 4, 2014 at 9:42 amI have never used wool covers before but they must keep you warm and the fabric must be breathable.

March 4, 2014 at 8:07 amI’ve used wool covers before AND I have a new baby coming! Hope I win! My advice would be to care for it properly and not use shortcuts, like putting it in the dryer or washing machine.

March 3, 2014 at 11:47 pmI loved using wool with dd especially overnights! It’s simple to care for and can be used for awhile before needing washed (as long as it’s not soiled or dirty).

March 3, 2014 at 10:11 amI have used wool a few times, the best advice I have is to make sure it does not land in the dryer it will shrink the wool
