wordans :: custom apparel and more :: review

Have you ever wanted to make custom gear and apparel?  Maybe you own a business and would like to promote it with a logo on some t-shirts or maybe you’d like to make special event apparel for an anniversary or graduation party.  Or maybe, like me, you just don’t like the school spirit options available to your kids.  I just used Wordans to help create each of my kids a new school spirit sweatshirt.  I liked that I could use some of their options (such as the paw print) and add our own school name and even our last name on the back.

Wordans is one of the few companies that allows you to order custom t-shirts without minimum orders.  So I was able to order just one shirt for each of my children–no need for multiples of ten or more.   And Wordans only uses clothing from trusted brands like Gildan, American Apparel and Bella.  So you know that your hard work in designing your shirts will be on quality items.  I was able to design my shirts using the online toolbar.  It did take quite a few tries to get it how I wanted, but I haven’t ever done anything like this before, so I can’t really say how that compared to other sites.  I also noticed that when my shirts arrived, the print was lighter and had almost a vintage wash to it.  I was expecting bold, bright colors.  I like the vintage look and, if that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll love the printing.  It may be a bit less bold since I had black and gray as the background colors and orange and white as the print colors.  If you’re looking for a bolder print, I would suggest using light colors for your apparel and darker colors for the printing.

Wordans offers more than just apparel, too.   From mobile cases to aprons, wall canvases, pillows and even dog beds, you can use your creative side to design something you love.  Maybe make a throw pillow using a favorite vacation picture or print some of your favorite family recipes right on your apron.  Peek around and tell me what you’d like to design from Wordans.
