I feel badly admitting this, but I have had lovely spring weather to enjoy for a while. I live in northern California and it is absolutely my favorite time of year. I grew up in the Midwest, I haven’t forgotten how it feels like nice weather is never coming. I think that gives me a greater appreciation for open windows, chirping birds, pink flowering trees, and warm air. I hope you are at least getting teased with a warmish day that gives you hope that Spring will indeed arrive soon.

While you wait for Spring to officially arrive, it’s time to pop in to your local Yankee Candle store. Their new scents are a breath of fresh air that capture the smells of spring. The vase candles are my favorite style. They add to our current décor. The crackling wick has a calming background noise as well. I have the Meadow scent and it smells so clean. It reminds me of my favorite soap. I appreciate a candle making our home smell cleaner then it really is.

I’m enjoying the Picnic in the Park candle on my table as I work. There is something about an organized workspace that smells pleasant that increases my productivity. The cute little guy playing in the window can be a distraction though.
