I’m terrible about eating breakfast. Does my morning coffee count as breakfast? I NEVER skip that. I often grab a protein bar on the way to the gym in the morning. The kids are always begging for a bite. The crunchy peanut butter Zone Perfect bars are my go-to flavor. I was excited to see Zone Perfect bars for KIDS on the shelf at my most recent trip to Target. I hate to sound selfish, but I don’t love sharing my protein bar. I want to say “get your own”, but my protein bars are a bit pricey and I don’t want them to eat half and get full. Now I can let them have their own!
We tried 3 flavors and while we really liked them all, the sugar cookie flavor is the winner by a small margin. They are the perfect size for kids. They are packed with nutrition. They have been a great addition to our snack cupboard. We found a new splash pad this week and the kids GREATLY enjoyed snacking on their Zone Perfect kids bars.
You might find my kids having a bedtime snack on a late summer night as well. This girl always want the sugar cookie flavor. They are really a fantastic size for a snack. I won’t lie, I eat the kid’s bars now. I’m the mom, I can tell them to keep their paws off my protein bars and eat theirs after they go to bed.
